Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.76m beam and a 2.3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 120 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The exterior design of the Ferretti 940/01 is the result of a collaboration between architect Filippo Salvetti and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. This model is the first widebody in the range, providing ample space for both relaxation and socializing.

Starting at the stern, the main deck features a cockpit furnished with freestanding furniture. The glass parapet here allows for an unobstructed view of the swim platform and surrounding water. The use of floor-to-ceiling glass walls provides a wide view of the sea, enhancing the connection between the interior and exterior spaces.

The external bow area is equipped with a large sun lounger, a C-shaped sofa, and a table. This setup accommodates easy access to the docking area, facilitated by wide passageways. The flybridge is huge, ideal for outdoor dining and enjoying the marine environment.

The interior design of the Ferretti 940/01 employs a Classic style that emphasizes warm, earthy elements. The saloon, accessible through large sliding glass doors, is a nearly 30 m² space that combines elegance with practicality. It features an L-shaped sofa that faces a storage unit and a sliding TV, providing a relaxing area for socializing or unwinding.

Central to the saloon is a dining table with seating for eight, ideal for both formal and casual gatherings. The design utilizes floor-to-ceiling glass walls that not only enhance the sense of space but also allow ample natural light to flood the interior, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

The use of Silver Roots marble is a notable aspect of the interior, adding a touch of sophistication. This material is prominently featured on the top of the desk located on the starboard side and on the bow wall behind the sofa. The marble extends into the bathroom, offering a consistent design theme throughout the main deck. The helm, located in the raised pilot house, features a single-piece windscreen that enhances visibility.

Ferretti 940 model offers a comprehensive accommodation for 10 guests in up to five cabins, with a owner's suite situated prominently on the main deck. This owner's suite benefits from the widebody hull concept, featuring large windows that flood the space with natural light. It is clad with Silver Roots marble, enhancing both the workspace and the en-suite bathroom, which spans the full beam of the yacht.

On the lower deck, the accommodation includes three VIP cabins and an additional guest cabin equipped with mobile beds. These cabins are designed to ensure comfort and privacy for all guests on board.

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-2000) 2,000hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht REV is capable of reaching a top speed of 25 knots, and comfortably cruises at 21 knots. With her 9,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 320 nautical miles at 21 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
